What car/truck? Looks like a 4.15 to me but totally unfamiliar with that design, sure no a common one to me.
Dave

It was a 7.5 out of a ranger

I didn't see any ratios that ended in 4??

I am not convinced that is the right tag.

The tags I have seen have the ratio beside the nut, not out in the middle. Also, I don't see any numbers ending in four. I do see a number beginning with four.

Weird huh...that was the diff tag...you can see the 7.5 on it...

Are you sure that tag doesn't say 75-140? As in the gear oil spec?

Not sure...lol...that's why I'm asking, was looking for a rear with 4.10 gears

I seem to recall having seen two tags on some axles... Is there another tag on it maybe?

Lots of axles have two tags. One IDs the axle, gives the gear ratio, and has what I believe to be a serial number. The other generally specifies the type of lubricant to be used.

Look on your door there is an axle code. Like mine is r6 which is the 8.8 with 3.73 limited slip. As a f6 is the 7.5 with 3.73 limited slip.

It was at a junkyard. It did not have a door

Oh that makes sense. Was just trying to help.
