Ya so I was thinking of doing a bodylift on my 87. I'm in the pros. of sohc motor swap into my 87. I thinking of doing about a 1 inch body lift and I was thinking of taking 2inch alum. round bar. and cut it down into 1inch sections and drill a hole in the center. I have already bought my new body mounts from energy susp.
I just wonder what everybody thought of this idea.
Also I really don't care to much for alot of body lift. I don't really care to much for the look of body lift with the frame rails totally exposed.
thanks again guys

did 3" body lift

if your not looking for big lift you might think about hocky pucks? i here it works. knot sure how safe it would be! i was thinking of it but i wanted more hight. i went with P/A's 3" body lift kit. it was time consuming but easy to do with all part needed to do the lift. :icon_cheers:

Hockey pucks tend to break down and crumble over time, not the best idea for lift blocks. The aluminum would work just fine for a 1"' BL
