Every day I pray for a spiritual and political revolution while fearing that the bloody one is coming, and preparing myself for it. And the evidence that I see daily is that its the bloody one that is coming.

The only advantage that we may have is that many in the military feel the way we do and may come to our side, and many more will likely have serious problems with firing on US citizens, even if we are breaking out in Armed rebellion.


I love my country, but with every story like this one I see that the America I love, that of the 40s and 50s, is rapidly disappearing.

All politics these days is about greed, control, power, and evil. It has nothing to do with whats best for the people. We've let it grow way to out of control and unchecked. The only way to stop the evil from growing and spreading, is to destroy it. Any less and things would go back to the way they are in a short amount of time. As you can tell, we all know how well that's going.

These crooks and all the evil politicians have to be beaten to within inches of their lives for them to start getting the message. Anything less is a slap on the wrist.

The fear of pissing off the American people has to be restored back into the govt again.

It's not until you have lived in IL do you really appreciate WI. I lived in Cook Country AKA CROOK COUNTY for 2.5 years and just moved back to Racine. I breathe a sigh of relief everyday after work when I hit the WI border (stil work there)...

It sucks that the Legislature (Particularly In MKE) that they pass such BS, but it is STILL NOTHING compared to traffic cameras, photo enforcement and TIMED I-Pass's.

They don't time the I-Pass system. Where do you come up with this crap? If they did, I'd have a LARGE ticket every day, both legs of my commute. Haven't seen the first one yet.

I will agree on Crook County though. Happiest day of my life was when I sold my condo in Schaumburg and left.

If you don't like traffic cameras, don't run red lights. If you don't like photo-enforcement, don't speed through work zones.

Seems pretty simple.

You had mentioned just how nice it was with the outdoors, I love the people in the small towns, can't get that feeling in a big one. Helga can go over to her 3" X 5" box and tell me what paint I bought 10 years ago. Can spend 15 mins in the hardward store and forget what I can down there for. Our little town (Amherst) of maybe 850 is having what they call a "Feel Good Festival" (?????) this week-end. Featured band is "Chronically Wasted Band". This area is so out of date with some of the culture, I'ts nice to live in. It really is a throw back to the good old days.

It's not crap. READ THE SIGNS before you enter a toll way!

"I-PASS users may be timed between tolls(forget the actual verbage)" But I nearly crapped myself when reading the sign entering SB on the Willow road Toll Entrance.

IL may not be issue sites for I-PAss Timing (AT THE MOMENT!), But When I got 6 tickets for photo enforcement Totalling over $600 form IL Dept of Revenue, It was all the proof that I need.

OH and TRY Not speeding (or keeping up with prudent flow of traffic) EVEN in the right lane and you;ll be run off the road or cause an accident. Dude I drive nearly 2oo miles a day (Field Service Tech) not including my commute and I can tell you that it is impossible to NOT get a ticket there.

By the way, I was a truck driver for a VERY long time, putting on 4-500 miles/day. I have had 2 tickets in 25 years. I have driven. A lot.

I am not sure, I really only use 88 to get to Lisle and never thought to look there, but pretty much everywhere up an down 294 from 120 to Golf road (my territory) are those signs.

Traffic in IL is relentless and I gotta hand it to you I don't think I could be a truck driver (at least down there). People think when you have a car's length from your's to the car ahead of your's that it's okay to merge. I see it happen in front of Semis all the time and I CRINGE. At least in WI people are a little less "on you." I think I got nailed with so many tickets b/c I drive up and down 294 all day - my Ipass bill is usually in the hundreds. And before they finished 294 last year I didn't have a choice but to keep up with traffic ... tickets... blah, either way at least WI isn't like that yet

Well, like I said, this area here is really a throw back in time. Next door neighbor had her four kids all born at home with a mid-wife. No cops in town but a couple live there, not one trafffic light. Do something wrong and they know who and where to find you. This is the fesitval going on this week-end. Sure looks like Woodstock to me.

not neccessarily true, even nut jobs take a day off to go vote or a couple hours etc. Its just lazy voters, I bet 100 bucks if you poll 1000 conservative voters, 60% will say they didnt vote.
