Wiring!!!

Hey everybody trying get rid of my ignition switch on my 86 ranger and was wondering if anyone knew what wires power up the ignition system?

Why would you do that? Unless your planning a push button starter or somthing?

yeah its in my pre-runner i have a push button already but the igntion switch is coming apart and i cant get power to my coil. so i need to wire that into a switch and get rid of the key switch all together.

Would be good to get an EVTM to find a good location to tap into. The wire you probably want is R/LG.

the "red/lt grn" run to the "tfi igntion module", "brn/pnk" run to the "ammeter" then to the alt, the "gry/yel" run to the "heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor", "red/lt blu" run the "neutral safety switch/clutch interlock switch" then to the "starter relay/tfi igntion module".

or atleast that is what my Haynes manual says
