Hey guys been working on my swap and am working on the wiring and have a few questions on what to do with some wires.

91 F150 SD into 86 b2

As follows:

Profile Ignition Pick up- PIN 56
Electronic pressure vontrol power/vehicle power X2- PINs 37 and 57
Spark Output- PIN 36
NSS- PIN 30 (ground?)
Self Test Input -PIN 48
Signal Return-PiIN 46 (what signal?)
Fuel Pump- PIN 22 (Connect to fuel pump Relay?)
Ref Voltage- PIN 26 (just connect to 12v?)
Ignition Diagnostic Monitor- PIN 4

Thanks guys, Any help is greatly appreciated. I can smell the end.:icon_cheers:

If it's a manual trans, pind 30 and 46 get connected by the nuetral safety switch.
On a Mustang application, they also get connected in neutral, as the T5 has a neutral switch. Since our truck don't have a neutral switch wired in, I hard wired 30 and 46 together (at the clutch pedasl switch) to avoid code 67 and it's effecfts on idle quality...

Yes, pinn 22 will trigger the fuel pump relay with 12v, that's what I did, too.

if you don't have an EVTM for your truck, the Harwood Performance swap manual is a $25 download, and will show you where to find each of those circuits on your BII.

Well its almost ready to run (I hope) hard to get work done around the shop.

I did buy the harwood long before I even started my swap, and read it through many times, But to be totally honest with you found it to be really useless. The information within it was completly wrong in every way, nothing matched up.
I found it to talk all about his swap more than anything, mostly only 2wd stuff and did nothing for the older gen 1s. As said above I ended up having to figure out what wires came from what and where they had to go and the manual was no help. Also only helps if you buy the harnesses from ford.

Information is only as good as what you use it for.
It's a nice wiring guide, to put a specific harness into a Ranger. If you use a different harness (I did, you did) you need to transpose some things. That's where the online Mustang diagrams or store bought EVTMs come into play.

Glad your truck is going to be running soon, you will love it!

IT RUNS! and runs good. I decided to go the 2.9 harness route as it was the easiest for me and feel that this truly is the easiest way to do a 2.9-5.0 swap when using the truck engine. All I did was make a new injector harness, extend the iac wires and I was done, really sismple and only took a couple hours:headbang:
