I’m in the process of swapping out my 2.9 for a 4.0. I have an 89 Ranger and the donor vehicle was a 92 Ford Explorer. I replaced my original engine wiring harness with the Explorer engine wiring harness. Everything plugged in except for the wires for the power door locks, windows and speakers.
I noticed that on my Ranger the wires for the power door locks, windows and speakers come from the doors, through the fender and plug into the original wiring harness near the radiator. The Explorer wiring harness does not have the same plug.
Is there a way to connect the wires for the power door locks, windows and speakers into the Explorer engine wiring harness?
