Wiring Harnesses?

1992 Ranger 4x4 Super Cab STX undergoing a seriously built 5.0L (it's actually a 331 stroker). I've been wiring for six months, off and on now and I have one remaining piece.

Simple question, I hope. Should I spend the $ and get the Ford Racing Multiport EFI Wiring Harness M-12071-A50 or will the fuel injector and computer harnesses from a 92-93 donor 5.0L Mustang do just the same? I'm on the bubble, I've got to do something. Thanks everyone!

Use the Mustang stuff if it's in good shape.
Cut it up until it's as short as you like, and remove whatever parts you don't want! :)

The only downside is that it's $400 more expensive than a used Mustang harness. If that matters.

Looks good, but the RJM is just $5 cheaper than the Ford Racing harness, flea-bay for $500.

Money isn't the issue with me. I want something that will perform and do what I need it to do, run and control the motor.

And I sort of need to get this soon. I've been wiring my Ranger for over 6 months now. Time to get that chapter done.

Thanks everyone for your insight and help!
