I have a 5.0 with AOD tranny from a 93 cougar that I am putting in my 97 ranger 2wd 5 speed. The harness from the cougar is trashed. what harness do I need to get?

I'd start with another harness from a 93 T-Bird or Cougar. Add in the engine side of the engine to body plug from a 97(ish) Ranger along with the wiring diagrams for both.
From there, its just a matter of research, cutting and splicing.

Would a 89-93 mustang harness be more simple to work with?
