I mounted a valance and foglights on a 93 2wd ranger . Installed relay and traced control wire to the white disc thing that mounts to the firewall on the engine side . There is no wire in that spot in the cab . What size connector snaps in that open hole ?

IF I understand the question. The easiest way to solve that problem would be to hit up local u-pull-it yard and get one wire from the inside connector. Doesn't matter which one as long as it is big enough. Make sure to leave plenty of room to tie it into wherever your going on the inside.

Note: I mean de-pin that wire from connector in the junkyard and add it to yours. You'll have to disassemble the connector on the inside.

Yep tried that . Brother I got tell ya them are locked in tight . Unbolted from firewall , pushed the female side through the firewall . I used very small screwdriver and a pick still no luck so I gave up and found an unused rubber boot that passed through it . Snipped the control wire off the socket and wired everything up . Haven't had a chance to try it yet . The 4 yr Grandson wanted to help so all work stopped for the day .

Glad you got a work around. There is always something.

Those pins really are in there good. I haven't tried to remove one on the inside but on the other side it took all of my strength to get the pin out..
And that's after figuring out the the red piece has to be removed to have any hope of pulling them.
