My Son has a 98 Ranger. 3.0 regular cab, auto, 4wd, delay wipers, manual windows & locks. Quite a while ago, the wipers quit working. The fuse is ok. We replaced the multifunction switch because it was broken and they still didn’t work. A neighbor had an Explorer for parts. We cut the harness that connects to the wiper motor and made one to run inside my Son’s truck. The wipers are on a toggle and we would like to get them working correctly. We were told it is the gem. When the interior is cold inside, sometimes the interior lights and 4wd don’t want to work. He says when it warms up, he hears a click in the dash and the interior lights and 4wd start working. We were told the gem was the issue. The number on his is F87B-14B205-ED. I have only been able to find used ones with that number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
