Winter's coming...


This year I am going to be using 300 pounds of broken bricks stacked against the back of the cab and then a couple big bags of salt.

I was always told not to, that it's unsafe to use that for weight.
 
Last winter I did fine just letting the bed fill with snow. Never really needed 4wd as the Ranger's wet traction is phenomenal compared to some trucks (S-10). I have a fiberglass camper shell now. It hasn't made an impact on my fuel economy and seems to boost traction.
