Our '92 Ranger has a water leak that seems to be mainly on the drivers side, last night and most of today it's been raining lightly and now there's a puddle on the d.s. floor. We had a lot of leaks at the top and passenger side of the windshield and it seems like I cured them and still missed one, I didn't check at the bottom of the windshield.
Has there been a recurring problem at the bottom of the windshield? I expect that I'll have to take the molding off at the windshield/cowl and inspect the area to possibly reseal that area also.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Mel

I've used Permatex flowable window gasket sealer. It's a very thin RTV and it works well. I've seen several different brands of the same stuff.

Good luck
Pat

Don't be suprised to find a rust hole hding behind the windshield trim moulding

But if you don't get real suspicious about the potential for rust holes
in the joint between the fireall and the cowl.
