windshield interchangeability

Got this 1990 ranger xlt 4x4 with a craked windshield and propably leaking too..

the local scrapyard only have third gen ranger lying around... if i manage to get one out will it fit my second gen ranger ?

called the local scrap yard they told me 82-92 will fit... can anyone confirm ?

Yes it'll fit. Cabs were practically the same. There a few changes in the sheet metal to support the interior and the front end changes.

just called a local glass shop, the guy told me a 1995 ranger windshield will work, anybody can confirm that ?

I would not trust that one. K would stick with the gen one and two windscreens

Just take it to a glass shop and have them do it. I had one installed on a 92 for $120.
