Windshield General Inquiry

[Ranger Rod]

I am about to change out the windshield on the 95 Ranger. I have noted on my search for a replacement glass that nearly all the trucks for sale have broken glass and my question is, does any one know the cause for this so that I can take precaustions during the install so that I am not looking through broken glass again a year from now? Thanks.

You might want to ask this question in the "exterior" forum category instead of here in the 3.0L engine forum.

Otherwise, my best advice is for after installation;

• stay away from low-hanging branches
• do not roll the vehicle over
• Do not follow other vehicles on the highways. They throw stuff at you.
• Do not park near golf courses or baseball games.
• Put the vehicle under a sturdy roof during hail storms and tornados
• Do not irritate your wife when she is holding a baseball bat.
