What do I need on my phone that I'm not using yet?

I like my omnia a lot, but there were things that annoyed me about the menu formatting etc. Today i finally broke down and installed spb mobile shell, and now i've got it the way i want it

the only things i've installed on my phone are various google applications and kevtris.

Any suggestions for other things i should have on there?

I am curious as well to this. I have a Windows Mobile phone and don't have anything on it yet.

Have you upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1 or are you still running 6.0?

Opera and Skyfire are good browser options. I occasionally use Google Maps, and having a regedit utility available can sometimes be handy.

What phone?

i have an samsung omnia that came stock with 6.1 and opera. i definitely like it so far, but the battery life leaves something to be desired

I got rid of my data package to save some money. I really liked Skyfire browser when I had it.

If you are using Windows 6.1, then you don't have the crack to break open some features of Windows 6.1.

I know this is a Blackjack II site, but I am sure this will work on other Windows 6.1 phones. It is really nice since AT&T wanted an extra $40 a month to use the phone as a tether. If you have an unlimited data package (which with AT&T they consider unlimited up to 5GB of usage), then the service provider will not know what you are using it for.

interesting - but i have verizon - i would like the option of using hte phone as a tether, but like AT&T, verizon wants to charge for it

See if that app will work on your phone. If it will, Verizon will never know. I used it on my AT&T phone for almost 3 months without question from AT&T.
