Ok I got a winch for my birth day an need a bumper
Can a jeep bumper work with just fabing up mounting brackets
Will it be as wide as a ranger front end
And will it look good

I want to say someone has done it and it looked like it was made for the ranger. As you said you would need different mounting brackets. You could always measure the width of your stock bumper and compare that to the width of the jeep bumper.

Are you fabbing up your own mounts? If so, why not just fab up a bumper then you'll have one that you like.
