So this is a question for all of you who have been there and done that. I write because it is always difficult to examine when I have to place an place an order online. I believe this is a standard Explorer 1" sway bar and that it will NOT fit in front of the axle but that it will fit in back. And if so I will have to fabricate some sort of tabs to hold the bushings in the right place on the axle. Also, I will need to buy link pins. Am I correct in assuming that OEM Explorer will work? That I will drill a couple holes to bolt them to the Ranger frame?

I don’t know if that will work, but I will say that the 02+ Explorers departed from the Ranger based platform and went to full independent rear suspension so entirely different from the Ranger.

I’m gonna be finding out how well the 98 Explorer rear bar fits soon, I’d have to look but for some reason I’m thinking it’s a 19mm bar I have.
