Will this 2001 bed fit a 93-97?

Looks okay, not too far away, price seems fairly reasonable. Would prefer a stepside bed/rollpan on my levelled parts runner project. Might grab some front end drek (shiny stuff) for Shelby’s 2007…

Yes. As long as they are the same length, any Ranger beds from 1983-2011 will physically interchange. From 93-2011 they'll bolt up and actually look right. The late trucks (10-11?) have a few extra bed bolts, but that won't be a concern for your earlier truck or the bed in question, and they'll still interchange.

You will need the correct taillights to fit the step side bed, they are different between the styleside, flareside, and Mazda/STX beds. You may have to do some wiring changes on the rear to make the tails and turn signals work right, but I don;t know how they were combined over the years and can't say for certain.

My 94 is the standard red yellow white 3 bulb. I’ll have to compare against Shelby’s 07 for harness differences. I know the frames are different, but the bed bolts sre the same.

I don’t “need” another bed. The stocker has no rust out, couple minor dents. But since the truck will get repainted as part of its restomodding anyway…

I need to finish restomodding the parts runner Ranger, in order to finish restomodding the parts runner Squarebody C10 swb lowrider, in order to finish restomodding the gmt400 K3500 dually search and rescue truck. That is in desperate need of a carburetor conversion and an SAS because IFS 4wd is one of the worst systems ever put on a 1 ton truck. Yeah, that flatbed is actually a 4wd commercial chassis, 12k# gvwr, with a 5spd.

I took a flare side from a ‘96 and put it on an ‘03 that had a style side.

The taillights from the ‘03 style side bolted right into the ‘96 flare side bed.

Had to shorten the filler neck is all.
