Hey, i am wanting to get some decent door speakers so i know these are decent from reveiws. But these look to be the older ones that arent as thin so i thoughgt i would make sure they fit before i buy them lol I was told my door speakers are 6.5", right?

Also, if you know of any other good sounding speakers that put out good bass, lemme know ;) I wont be runnign a sub off them, just the power from my aftermarket headunit.

Thanks

You may have a hard time finding speakers that fit your front doors as they only have about 2.5" of space depth wise and most speakers are much deeper, I believe I got my brother a set of those for his and they didn't work.

space them out from the stock mounts with some aluminum and make extended grilles for em?

Well I dont know many speakers, but if you got those speakers and then got some kick panels for 6.5" speakers you wouldn't need to worry about the door space. Unfortunately kick panels are like 80 buck or so on therir own.

My suggestion thoguh is don't go budget speakers, if you want good sound then save up and get good speakers, Thats what I ended up doing and I am very pleased with the results.

Meh, i gave up on a crazy loud stereo when i tried to fit a 12" sub behind the seat of my reg cab lol. I just want speakers that i know can withstand fullpower from my headunit. And from what i know, they only pound out 50 watts max lol. I know polk makes good speakers. Basically, im looking for some speakers that can play pretty good bass (for their size anyways) and, like i said, play whatev er my headunit can produce without an external amp.

And im on a pretty good budjet since i need to fix my smashed up truck myself. So just lemme know if you guys know of anything :) Thanks
