Iv got about 5in of lift on my front end. I just put on 33s and they rub when the wheel is turned all the way. Will adding a wheel spacer help this problem?

where do they rub?

1inch would be plenty I think but dont go any wider than 2 inches id say you'll start toasting wheel bearings.

Thanks! I was thinking with doing a 1/2 in. Do you think the spacers will make the truck look stupid and or effect the way it drives?

Honestly it will make it look pretty bad ass i think and it shouldnt effect much as far a driving goes.

Thanks alot! When doing this I should do it in the rear as well right?

It all depends on the offset of the wheels, stock , Jeep wheels, or after market.

I have a a 94 2wd with 5.5" suspension lift & im running 1990 Cherokee finned alloy wheels with 33"x12.50/15 BFG KM2s & i have 2" wheel spacers & on sharp turn the tires still rub against the Radius arms ,but mine has different suspension then your 98. On my next set of KM2s I will get the 33x10.50 Not only are they lighter by 14lbs & narrower ,but they also have heavier load capacity then the 12.50s

You must have the wrong wheels on your truck. The back spacing must be the wrong size. I have 15x8 AR 172 wheels and run 33x12.5 and never had a n issue. Are you using 10 inch wide rims?

They are bone stock ranger rims and only the front right rubs. The alignment is perfect and the wheel barrings are still good

I'm iffy on spacers and flat out against adaptors. It adds a weak point that is unecessary, and people do break wheel studs and such as a result of using them when wheeling, and I'd hate to have something happen on a highway. Just keep that in mind. Personally, I'd buy new wheels, pick up a used set or something.
