Hi, I have a 93 4.0 5 speed ranger. I have had the slave cylinder replaced 3 time. First was a bout a year ago with one from Autozone. After asking here I bought a LUK brand from rock auto. It lased a bout 45 days and started draining the resivore. I took it out and replaced with another LUK from rock auto. It now is draining the cluth resivore again. The first 2 looked as if it was over extending and leaking around the collar. I have now had the transmission out 3 time with a fouth coming. Is there anything I need to konw? It has the correct plate between the engine and transmission. Should there be a shim or something behind the slave cylinder or something? Any help is appreciated as I hate to keep replacing slave cylinders and down time. I work nights so it will be late when i can respond. Thanks

This is a new one for me. But, logically something is the wrong part. Either the slave, the clutch kit, or the flywheel. I guess if the flywheel had been resurfaced enough it could be too thin. I don't remember there being a spacer between the flywheel and crankshaft but if one were mission that could do it too.
