Do you guys think that my TTB Dana 35 front axel will hold up rolling 34 in tires?

Yes, with no problems.

Install genuine spicer 5-760x u joints, and clearance the axle shafts to accept full snap rings on the U joint caps (instead of the junk half clips)

I've been running 35-36" swampers for over 5 years with zero problems.

Slap a set of Jeep locking hubs (Warn pt# 37780), and the u-joint setup Sasquatch mentioned, and it'll be stronger than a stock F-150 D44.

6 years with 35s on mine.

Medford eh? You ever buy ranger parts in Roseburg before?

Interested in wheelin sometime?

But yeah, it will hold up just fine... my buddies gonna be running 36's on the d35 and we're feelin pretty confident about it.

I have the 36" tsl's on mine and no problems so far. But I usually run mud and the odd rock place here and there.

It isn't the height of tires that breaks the "weak" bearing setup of the D35 but the width.

so it's not the 33x?, 34x? or 35x? that will kill stuff, but rather the ?x12.0 that does the deadly damage.

Tires wider than 10.5 are just begging for trouble.

Frankly I think that BFG makes their A/T tires in 33x9.50 for a
damned good reason AND that more Ranger owners shoudl consider
that size unless they've already done a D44 knuckle swap OR an SAS.

I dunno bout that.....36X12.50 TSL SX (80lbs per tire without the rim) and no issues yet. I don't play in the mud, its a crawling/ trail truck.

Yeah I also have to strongly disagree with that as well (infact I don't think the tire's width itself plays much of a role at all, it's the wheel's OFFSET that can wreak havoc on the bearings).

-½" to +1" is the best range for wheel offset, but many do go out to -1¼" (your typical 15x10 with 3.75" backspace) with no issues whatsoever.

Chance. i havnt ever wheeled in roseburg before but i would be interested maybe this summer when i have more time. i have a friend in Winston so we might wheel up there somtime.

Alright just drop me a line or something when ya do and we'll go hit up some trails

My auto hubs crapped out so im gunna put some warn jeep hubs in in like two weeks.

HOW do you put 12.5" (or wider) tires on a Ranger WITHOUT wider wheels that have more offset???

Answer you can't.... because the truck won't roll too well with
tires that rub the frame when going straight:)

Ummm... That is not what I said :annoyed: Please read my post again.

And yes, several here have infact put 33x12.50s (even 35X12.50s) on actual STOCK rims.
