Will LEDs work with the Blinker Mod?

Thanks for the "Fix" update!

There has to be an easier fix that I am over looking. That size resistor will generate some heat.

These resistors are sold specifically to be used with LED turn signal bulbs actually - they come with splice-in connectors to tap into the turn and ground wires and cost around $8 for a pair. They simulate the load of an incandescent and keep your factory flasher unit from "hyperflashing". Yes they do generate some heat (but really no more than an incandescent bulb) so you have to be mindful of where you place them.

My original plan was to use an LED compatible electronic flasher unit since it was easier to install and didn't require any wire splicing, but now that I figured out I need the resistors anyways to make my blinker mod work I'm just switching to resistors all the way around
