Will a 97 expidition Rear end work in my 94 ranger ? The gear ratio is th same as mine 3.73

Expedition is full size, so over 6" wider than Ranger and the bolt pattern in probably 5x135, not 5x4.5 (aka 5x114). So, you would need different rims and it would stick out.

But if it's a "farm truck" and the axle is free, it can be made work.

Might need to move the spring perches also.
