Will the step bars /running boards for a ranger fit the BII? It seems its easier to find ranger stuff . If not what will work. My wife has difficulty getting in the BII. Which is what I prefer but ....
Also the interior of my BII is that blue striped material. Did Ford use that material on any other cars. Do you know where I might be able to get some of it. Enough for the front seats. They dont need it now but I think the back on the drivers side has a broken support in it and I may have to remove the cover to get at it and I am no upholsterer so putting it back together may be a problem.

Red,
Not sure on the first question but on the second one I can answer. I've pulled several seats apart to fix them and the seat cover comes off pretty easy and as long as the fabric is still good it will go back on fairly easy with a bit of massaging. I've never had to replace the seat covers on the ones I've worked on. If you wanted to find that exact fabric all I can say is good luck. Cheers!

Well, you could get the B2 stock with running boards, so maybe try and find a pair in a wrecker?

Store-bought for a Ranger should fit, especially if you get ones for a regular cab/short box... Extended cab or long box steps might be too long for the B2 wheelbase.

Alternatively, you can just get her a step. Something like this.

Thats probably what will be installed on my truck once I get around to tearing off the running boards, 'cause my girl also requires such assistance.

Go to the dollar store and buy a cheap step stool. Cheap to buy and no installation.

You need to get out of the cold its affecting your thinking

dont laugh i did it for my 79 y/o dad to get in/out of my dually, it work out well for him, i bought diamoind plate lighted running boards for my truck but he would rather use the step stool, who woulda thunk it!!! just my .02

If it don't fiy force it!
