Will bush bars off a 95 fit a 89?

Just wondering if a bush bar off a 95 ranger/explorer fit a 89 ranger? Would I have to do any mods? What are they if so?

considering the body styles are completely different, i dont think they will fit properly.

just about anything can be made to fit...but its not going to look right since the guards are curved to match the newer body style.

Nada. Frame mounts are different.

I know because I always see second gen bumpers that are REAL nice at the yard, but I can't get them cause I'm in a third.

Well, they're a bit pricey but you can check www.jcwhitney.com and www.autopartswarehouse.com both of those should have them, and I think they have free shipping on $75+ orders at JC Whitney and $50+ orders on autoparts warehouse.

You could also look into having an experienced welder fab one up for you in your area, no clue as to how much that would cost.

motopete, i may have aan answer for you. i have a push bar from an early body style ranger, and i need one for a 95. if you are close, we might be able to trade.

Or I could buy it from him. I have come to a conclusion that it is near impossible to find anything aftermarket for this year. Or am I just looking in the wrong spots???

95 bumper

Hi guys, there's a guy up here (Vancouver Island BC Canada) thats been trying to sell one for a while. He's got it a ad on bc4x4.com. I thought I could mod. it but I guess it would be too much work. I'd rather just get one made for my truck. I live in Victoria BC Canada, if any one close has one let me know.
