I need a camper shell for my 94 Ranger. I have the opportunity to buy one that came off a 92 Ranger. Based on my research, it looks like the beds are slightly different sizes. Are they too different for it to fit well?
I can't just drive up there and try it on because it's almost two hours away.

Are you talking a slide in camper or a shell that bolts to the top of the bed rails?
In any case, AFAIK all Ranger beds are the same thru 2010 or more. And by the same I mean the inside width and length of a short box will the same thru the years, but not the same as a long box. And the flair-sides are all the same idea as well.

I would suggest you contact the owner and get him to get you measurements.

Anything will fit with a big enough hammer.

As long as the box is the same width and length...there were some long boxes that added about a foot...so if they are both regular boxes the camper top will exactly...maybe the 94 is a bit wider but it will still fit...just a bit of gap on the outside edge...
