will a 4.0L bolt in to a 95' 2.3?

i've been told it will, without having to replace axles and other components, would like your opinion.

Yes it will, you will need the 4.0L motor mounts and a trans, the 2.3L trans will not bolt up to the 4.0L, and you might need a driveshaft, but the rangers came with 4.0L's since 91, so all parts are readily available...

Don't forget a wiring harness! If you can find a 4.0 from a 95 or newer ranger with the harness and trans you'd be alot better off than trying to install an older one. Best bet would be to find a donor vehicle with everything you need.
