Will a 32 rub with 10 inch rim..body lift???

those rims are way to wide for a tire thats actually 9 inches wide.they are barely narrow enough for a 12.5 wide(actually 10"s) tire. use 3.75 backspacing on any new wheel(its factory spec and works best)

i ran a 11.50 tire on a 10 inch rim for 3 or so years. dont know if it affected anything on my truck. but it worked. and looked badass!!

i currently am running a 32x11.50 on a ten inch rim with out rubbing all i have is a t-bar crank on my 03 level II. I have was running 33x12.50 on them but they rubbed the lower valance at full lock. I am not sure of the back spacing on the rims.

Ok I do have a 3 inch body lift. Torsion bars cranked to level the truck. I late have plans on fully cranking and adding a leaf or lift shackle to the back.

Theres no problem running that tire size on a 10 inch rim my buddy has a 31x10.50 on a 10 inch rim and he didnt have any bad wear out of them except the back passenger side(LOL).
I was mainly concerned about fender trimming and im not a fan on that unless its a beater.

Thanks for the help because im going to try to get them if the price is alittle negotionable. haha

quick question for ya...

so your buddy is running 10.5 tires on a 10 inch rim, correct?

in your opinion, do you think the same concept would work for 12.5 tires on a 12 inch rim?

everyone has been telling me that its not a practical combo, and i get that. but i have a set of 15x12 eagle alloys and the largest tire i can run on my truck is 33x12.5x15.

possible?

what about a 31x11.5x15 tire on that same 15x12 rim?

it will work. there are street toyota's and rangers around here running 225/50/15 on a 10 inch rim thats a 9" wide tire on a 10" rim. 11.5 or 12.5 on a 12 will work. i assume the only problem would be airing down your tires when offroading and less protection of the rim. http://www.4wheelparts.com/stores/Store-Info.aspx?sNo=16

It's not just airing down, I've seen people running those sized tires on the street and popping beads hitting a pothole. I wouldn't do it.

BAD IDEA
you don't want a wider rim than the tire contact area,it looks gay and will aggrevate sidewall and rim damage. refer to my siggy quote by critter.you need gold spokes and whitewalls

take a tape measure and see for yourself.you want the so called(its actually two inches narrower than it says) tire width to be two inches wider than the rim to be matched well.i don't know why they do it but the width is two inches less and the height is usually about 1.5 inches less than stated on the sidewall.

if you think a 10.5(8 inches wide) fits on a 10 inch rim you've got some learning to do still.

an 8 inch rim is perfect for 10.5's and 11.5's. and a lot of guys run them on 12.5 tires on the trail for best performance.my 33x14 boggers say right on the sidewall to use a 10" rim and a 10" rim is about perfect for a 33x12.5 a/t.

Man I know im not crazy and im like a brother to this kid. He ran a 31 10.50 mud king on a 15x10 inch wheel and he got about 30000 miles out of them and no funny wearing was noticable except the back tire and thats because he was gas happy. The front tires had less then 1/4 tread but the tread was flat.

I did find out he told me the wheels are eagle alloys 058 and he said they had -46 mm offset and 3 5/8 backspacing.

oh man. thanks alot for that link. that is exactly what im looking for. im born and raised in hawaii and want that "hawaii" look.

if anyone visits hawaii and sees the tires they run on toyotas, youd realize that ANYTHING is possible. my cousin has 38x16x15 tires on a 15x20 inch rim. INSANE...but thats how we do it in hawaii. hate it or love it, thats how we roll. its obvious that we dont go for performance, but its a nice look if youre just gonna cruise down the beach

here is a pic of my uncles truck. 03 ranger, completely stock, 31x11.5x15 swamper tsl, on 15x11 eagle alloys....looks punchy

ok, pic didnt upload. oh well, ill have him send me a new pic soon
