Will a 3.0 pull a boat?

Actually, little known fact is that the 3.0 is wholly incompatible with boats. If you put a boat on a trailer and plug in the trailer connector a 3.0 won't even start. Something with the software. The engineers still haven't figured it out.

Canoes, kayaks, and PWCs are fine, but boats just make them not run at all.
Hater.

I love my 3.0L, I've pulled BIIs behind it several times, no sweat. Of course, I also have the 5-speed manual trans, so when I needed more grunt on a hill or something, just downshift and get on it. 3.0L motors like to rev, they make the most power between 3,000 and 5,000 RPMs. Sounds like the motor is screaming, but that's where the power is at. Redline is supposed to be around 6-6,500, but the rev limiter on the computer will cut you out at around 5,500. You're not gaining anything over 5k anyway.
