I have a 2002 4x4 off-road package. Will 265's rub with the stock suspension? I'm running 255's now with no problems. How will 265's affect the mpg's and the speedo?

I have 265 x 15's on my 97 4x4. They were stock to the truck, and no problems.

I really think that the difference between the 255 and the 265 is about an inch overall diameter.

If you are planning to run 265/75/16 without a torsion bar crank, they will rub. Mine still rub a little with the bars cranked 1.5", but only at full lock.

Gas mileage differentials will be negligible between those sizes.

I'm running 256/70-16 BFG's on my '05' with no problem. I rubs just enough to keep the snow off the plastic splash panel.
