does my 84 Ranger choke down when you first take off.
after that it does good but it will choke down every time you start off. It just does it one time and then it's ok. The two previous owners said it did it with them too. Numerous mechanics have tried to solve it but to no avail. Help me please, this is so aggravating.

Is the choke stuck?

Could be the really crappy computer control system they tried to use on it.

is this a 2150 carb? They all do that . At least the 2150s rigged for the Jeep 360 V8 did.
