i was rear ended in my firs ranger a total of 6 seperate times, i was either stopping behind a bus or at a light each time, every vehicle that hit me was totalled out, and my bumper never flinched once

another time I was rearended somehow the car got my bumper EXACTLY in their grille and headlights, destroyed all of the plastic but didn't scratch metal... I don't know what it was (grille was broken) but they were lucky... all it did to mine was break a weld or two on my bumper (previous owner apparently neglected to weld it thoroughly)

I love mine for the same reason!
July of 08 this girl hit me at about 45-50mph.
She hit me so hard my rear tires came off the ground.
I drove home, her car was totaled

My bumper was bent, and my frame is now off to the left 1in. My lights got broken.

Her car other than what you see had, a bent sub frame(tire touched the firewall), broke the transaxle case, bent the firewall with the engine(so much the dash was pushed up), shattered both valve covers, all the airbags were deployed.

had some idiot rear end me at about 20 mph ina honda accord....didnt hurt the bumper but shoved his hood about a foot in,broke his grill and 1 headlight,looked like a soda can haha stupid little car..LIFTED RANGERS WIN AGIAN

I just saw a wreck today - about 300 feet ahead of me I saw a big puff of white smoke. It was a black Pontiac Grand Am locking his brakes trying to stop as a white Dodge Ram turned left in front of him. Too late - BOOM! Both cars spun around and the Dodge went up on an embankment, almost flipping over. Not too serious as both drivers jumped out and started yelling at each other, but the Pontiac looked totaled, with a completely bashed-in front end, airbags deployed. The Dodge took it in the right side and looked bad, but much less bad than the car. Mass wins again!

i was at a stop light and i started to go then stoped cause a car ran a light. well when i stop i got hit in the rear by a expedition. not one bit of damage to my rear bumper. his front was bent in and eveything behind it was crushed. he had to call a tow truck i drive away lol

Well, about a year ago I was making a right turn into my driveway and some dude also rear ended me on my truck. My truck is lifted so he hit the good stuff the bumber and frame. He bent my bumber so I charged hime for a new one. What happen to his truck you say? It was totaled. the whole front end was gone and catched on fire. We had to call the fire department since we couldn't contain it. it looked like a freaking war scene.lol. When police officers and fire dept crew saw my truck they couldn't believe i was the one that got rear ended. I felt pretty bad ass! Oh yeah I also got side swiped by an 18 wheeler! but thats another story!

Well lets see... I got cut off, in high school a girl saw a parking spot on the other side of the parking lot so she cut through all of the open spots between her and the spot ran infront of me and stopped! I hit my brakes and let up (note I'm on pure Ice) slid into her at an angle bent my bumper... Dented her fender and bent her rim and snapped the CV axle. I went to auto shop the next class period and pulled it out.

Another one was I was turning into the theater here which is a super sharp turn (I'm in our 92 250) I start turning and this lady tried to apparently squeeze between me and the turn in... hit at 25mph right infront of the rear tire... bent in the bed a bit... (aparently 2500 bucks in damage) I can pull it out just haven't had the time... She had a 08 escape hybrid ripped the bumper off and destroyed everything behind it... This one is retarded because now her insurance company is trying to refuse payment for something that was obviously her fault.

i dont have a ranger story but i did have a 86 K5 sittin on 38s when i lived in vegas. got rear ended by a 18 year old rich kid drivin a brand new 2004 honda accord. (still had the window sticker) he ran the hood under my diff and my bumber cracked his windsheild. picked up my rear wheels and the wrecker made me 4low it off the hood of this kids car. the only damage to my blazer was white paint left on my trailer hitch. kids car was a total loss. he cried so hard that the cop on scene called his parents to make sure he wasint gona kill himself.

Haha, dang! That must really suck for a young kid though, BRAND new car and you total it off... Mommy and daddy must've been some kind of mad!
