Why I love Rangers

My truck over its 22 years has done above $5G in damage to other vehicles, it has sustained only a few hundred. After it's first accident it needed a new fender and a headlight, thats the only body work its ever had. I think that car was totaled. Funny part was it was an old friend of my mom who was driving the car my dad hit.

One time it even pulled my dad's F-250 (engine blown) out of the mud hole that my grandpa's GMC 1500 couldn't get it out of.

Hahaha, wicked.
Especially for being such a light truck, you know? Surprising it pulled it out if the heavier GM couldn't.

i ran my 88 ranger into a telephone pole at about 70, well, i left the pavement at 70 (dump truck was coming at me head on) and locked up the wheels on the grass, hit the pole with the right headlight, pole came through and broke the radius arm and bracket, popped the tire, bent the rim.

i reset the inertia switch and drove it home.

My neigbor backed into my ranger with the tailgate down he was trying to back around it and his bed side cliped my tailgate broke his tailight and put a large gash down the side of his truck, all he did to mine was knock the tail gate off I picked it back up put it back on just a small scratch in drivers corner no dent he said sent me a bill I said don't worrie 'bout it.

I've been hit on all four sides of my ranger and you can hardly tell except for the bent bumper and tailgate from a full size chevy. My ranger has totaled 4 vehicles in it's life with me, and I'm pretty sure it was hit before I bought it too.

Sometimes though, even though your bumper doesn't show much damage, the front of the bed can still smack the rear of the cab and put a couple dents there that turn into rust spots later on. It can also knock your rear window loose and allow it to leak.

Yes, that's true. Luckily mine didn't do any of that, already checked for the dents on the cab, and drove it in the rain over the weekend, no leaks! :yahoo:
