why does this not look like a 99?

looks like it was in a front end collision and they just threw some 3rd gen lights and bumper on there. the tail lights and 4x4 decals give it away

No cat means no pass echeck. No airbags not sure but if it is Ohio there probably is a law that says they must be there too. Might be OK for parts ride as you really have no idea what else was damaged in the collision. The frames on these trucks is as flimsy as tinfoil.

It looks like the camera is from the 60s.

It is a federal offense to operate on public roads.

I'm not one to sing the praises of air bags, but they should probably be there.

Wouldn't buy the truck as i have 0 Dollars to buy another truck with and i'm not buying another auto PoS...

Michigan doesn't have e-checks or inspections, therefore it doesn't matter to me and i could probably get airbags from the local pick-n-pull.

just wondering why there was a 3rd gen front end on it..must have been too cheap to buy the 4th gen stuff...does it swap over without any mods? just wonderin'.

no they don't swap without mods, fenders, and core support are different, I imagine its pretty hacked up.

You don't need airbags to pass a salvage inspection in Ohio, currently there are only 8 counties that have echeck so the cat just depends on where you are, but its still illegal to not have it.

i have no checks. i just went to the secretary of state, waited in line 20 minutes, paid 80 bucks..got my plate and was on the road.

Nah....a one eyed cat in a seafood mart took those photos...or that kid did...lol

I used to live in Springfield and they are REALLY sticky about the echeck.

How long ago was that? There are no counties around columbus doing echeck anymore. I was wrong on my count, there are only 7. Lorain, medina, cuyahoga, summit, portage, lake, and geauga. It really makes no sense, but i have heard rumors from echeck employees that they will be reforming the program, and making the whole state do it, but only vehicles '96 and newer.
