Why diff HP 3.0 V6?

146hp @ 5050 RPM (2002)
154hp @ 5200 RPM (2003 - 2004)
Why is the 2002 lower than the 2001 or 2003?

Without the author listed on the page, I would guess the numbers were just pulled from different publications. The engines probably produce the exact same output.

i think another reason is because i think after 01 they put on a plastic upper intake therefore lowering intake temps. the 02+ should have just a little bit more horsepower than later models.

They changed valves between 99 and 2000 thus more power.
