Analizing software systems on Christmas eve. fun fun eh?

(And sitting on TRS. I have more hours logged on this website than my company's )

The company I work for gives us a week off paid and bonuses when the company is making money.

The company told us well in advance this year that we'd not be recieving our week off. They widdled it down to two days. No bonuses either.

I'm working today, but they are letting us leave at 3.

They cut back hours for my department to 32 also.

I'm still putting down 8 hours for holidays though.

We are all laying awake at night, worrying about our jobs.



Not letting it get me down, my kids wont notice much difference and I'm considering to use the extra hours off trying to 'flip' some mechanics specials from auctions and/or craigslist.

We'll be closed on Friday also for a four day weekend.

Yeah I'm here. I work in a lab at a local hospital. Sooo I'm working today through Friday. And then I get the weekend off. I do have a long weekend
off over New Years though. Merry Christmas all!!!

I've been on a "extended" break since LAST Wednesday, won't go back until the 5th, been hibernating. I'm a Christian and really don't mind working on the pagan holiday, we get paid for 25th and the new calander year celebration.

I wish I was working, but my boss doesn't seem to understand that me calling him and telling him I'm in town and available to work means that I want to.

I was at work today. But won't be back until Saturday. Then I get Sunday & Monday off. Not looking forward to Saturday. The last weekend before the year ends and I'll be the only mechanic on duty. Not only that, the store is a gas station/liquor/automotive store. So I'll be dealing with all kinds of nut jobs that walk in.
