Hey guys, i have a 1998 Ford Ranger. It just started acting like it was hardly missing but it still had plenty of power. But it sounded terrible. So i went to Autozone and got new plugs. I took the old plugs out and they were very white as u can see in the picture. Any Fixes?

The pic on my computer was kind of blurry...but I can see you are running hot. Are you losing any coolant? Have you checked your lower intake manifold bolts to make sure they aren't loose? Are you pinging at all?

RE:

Not Hot,No coolent loss and it dosnt ping....havent checked those bolts...do u mean the intake that bolts to the heads or the air intake?
It runs fine it just concerns me....

Danger, yes, the manifold that bolts down between the heads. I believe there are 6 or 8 bolts. 13 or 15mm. There is a proper tightening sequence and torque value. Get out that Haynes/Chilton's!

In any case, you're running hot...not coolant temp gauge hot, but cylinder temp hot. How old are these plugs? Sometimes this could even be an early sign of a clogging catalytic converter.
