Got a odd one here.
Its my first 4x4 Ranger, a 2004 4.0 XLT. Auto Trans
Got some snow up here in NH this past weekend and I thought I'd put it in 4x4 High and have some fun.
However, I noticed when I accelerated, I was getting a high tone of whining or humming from the from end. The more I accelerated, the louder it got.
I am not sure what could cause this. There is only 80k on the vehicle
