I had a cheap 9500 lb. Winch from Northern Tool on my 98 super cab. it had a topper so weighed about 4000lbs. I used it a few times be silly in deep mud and never had a problem. Actually pulled out a 2500 Chevy in the snow one time as well. Wish I could remember the brand.
