I'm wanting to change out my sagging front springs on my 87 Ranger extended cab but don't understand which springs to get. Can someone tell me which one of these is for the stock 2 wheel drive extended cab Ranger W/AC and automatic transmission? Not clear on the sizes like 107.9"; 113.9. I would much appreciate it. Here is Rock auto's catalog:

Not clear on the sizes like 107.9"; 113.9. These numbers are referring to wheel base; from the center-line of the front axle to the center-line of the rear axle.

Process of elimination leaves this one

Im not 100% sure, but your engine size might dictate spring size...
But I would guess it is the 2nd one down, It is the only one that says with a/c, with Auto, and for 2wd.
Personally, I would just go to a wrecker for coils though.

Agreed, I noticed that engine size made a difference to spring rates when I was looking through spring catalogs.

That Rock auto readout that I posted was from the 2.9 section so should be accurate.

Ahhh, it was narrowed down to your engine.
Actually, you know what, those all say regular cab... Can you find any that say Extended? Because they have more weight up front...

You know, that was was I was thinking as well. I didn't see any mention of the extended cab, that is why I'm confused, what chance do I have of actually getting the right springs delivered to my door. I guess I could call Rock auto and ask one of their sales people which ones to buy.
