which rangers seat 5?

i know my old 96 sat 5, but is it the same way on any auto ranger with the 60/40 bench seat? Was that available on all years? Im gonna try to find another one that can but i dont know what years to look for. thanks

but there isnt a seat in the middle in the front because of the shifter, is there? on my 96 you can fold up the center console and seat a third person up front.

my 91 regular cab with a manual has the 60/40 seats will seat three even with the manual. It's really awkward because you have to reach between someones legs to shift, but you can do it.

Jump seats are optional. My truck doesn't have them. Good luck fitting 5 people in the cab. I'll bet no one will be comfortable. I once had 2 of my friends in the cab, the 3 of us on the bench seat. It was cramped and uncomfortable for all of us. On the way back home, I made one of them sit on the floor behind the seats. Then he was the ONLY one who was uncomfortable.

well i dont do it often, but i do occasionally have 5 people in their and id like to keep that option on my next truck.

mine has a seat in the middle with a manual tranny. you have to be under 3 feet tall and about forty pounds to be able to fit in it though

My '00 has a seat and belt in the middle even with the manual trans. I've had four in the truck several times (me and my buddy in the front and the GF's in the extended cab). A lil cozy but not too terrible for a relatively short trip.

I have had three across the front of my Ranger a couple times, but I also have a rule with that - The person sitting in the middle is required to be a female. I've driven over a hundred miles with three across the front like that at one time.

All rangers with jump seats seats seat 5 people, regardless of transmission, 4wd, etc. That answer your question? Actually, there might be one exception. didnt some 1st. gens come with a big center console which didnt fold up into a seat?

i've had 5 people plus me in my 93 ext'd cab, but i have 2 bucket seats up front and 2 jump seats in the back and i have a 5 speed manual.... me in the driver's seat, a friend in the middle, then 4 other people filling the other seats.. it wasnt what i call comfortable though... haha

That why you make sure a Female goes in the center, so you don't accidentally grab the wrong stick!

Yes. The middle passenger basically must be a woman with a tiny butt.

Yeah, Mine has the seat belt in the middle and I have a manual. I don't have the bench anymore, but I did have the seat belt

Basically Federal safety standards say that any truck with a bench seat must have a center seat belt.
