i have a 1988 bronco II with dana 35 front end with jeep limited slip ,0 lift love it! my question is what year front shock should i use 1988 or 1994 when i shop
there different, im guessin at 1990 to 94 thats the years for the dana 35.
your opinion appreciated.
thanks steve

come on guys someone here has a dana 35 in there br2 what shock are you using!
thanks steve

I'm using the Rough Country shock that came with my lift, they are reasonably priced to buy seperately.

Ranchos are good too

I would assume that you could use 90 Bronco II when searching for the shocks you want.

Use 1991 ranger, 1992 explorer.. any year D35 truck. Or, use you original shocks if you push the metal sleeve out of the bushing, or if you use the D28 style radius arms/shock mounts.

Rancho's are cheap and stiff. If you use them I recommend turning them upside down. It makes them softer till they wear out then you turn them right side up till they stop working.

If it's a stock setup I would use oem replacements from a parts store. They are cheap and work well.
