I got stuck in the mudd the other day and i need to get pulled out but i had no front tow hooks but when i look in the tech library about mounting tow hooks are different than the bumper i have and it will not work and i have a 96 ranger xlt !!!! I need some ideas about brackets of some kind or mounting them some where wear i will rip them off in a pull????

Tow hooks generaly mount directly to the vehicle frame.

Stare at it long enough and you'll figure out a way to make it work!

Just drill two holes and mount em to the frame.
But make sure it clears your bumper as it will bend it if you need a hard pull.
I once put a set on with aircraft grade fasteners so I could mount them taller on blocks. Never even bent when the truck was pulled out multiple times by them.

go to the auto parts store and buy the tow hooks and drill 4 holes on the frame and blot them up

hey can i fit some U hooks to the frame under the engine?? the big iron plate where the susp lower arms bolt to?
seems pretty strong to me, i wanna place an U shaped ring there so when i need to get towed
