Hey i'm new to the site and to rangers. Im getting my license in a month or so. I've been looking around for good lifts and im wondering where are good places (online) to buy from and what should I get. Im going to get a ranger with 2wd and around a 1998 or newer. So I just want to start to research on what to get. (Ill be using this truck for towing a trailer, and for light offroading). Thanks for the help.

98+ with coil front suspension is easy to lift with coil spacers or spindles on the front and blocks on the back.

97 and older truck are far easier to lift and modify, not to mention cheaper. TRS sells lift parts, and the site also has a classifieds section where you may be able to find a good deal.

your best lift is NOT a kit.. its a lift that you piece together. every ttb lift is lacking something.

but like said above. get one w/ a d35 TTB front end. the ttb is better for offroading. people offroad in the real ifs stuff, but the ttb is better.

you're in the right place for ranger info for sure. WELCOME!

98+ is pretty easy to lift about 3" for $200-500. im happy with mine... ttb is pretty awsome though. but lifting above 2" is gonna be a pain anyways, 98+ the spindles are kinda a pain to change and, 83-97 you need drop down brackets, longer coils (or spacers) and longer shocks and alotta people like ta put longer radius arms. blah blah blah... im jus rambling on.

as long as you get a ranger and not a s10 then who cares :p

I have a few vehicals, 4x4 and 2wd all lifted and love them. Here is my 2wd '99 Ranger with 33x12.5 KO tires. You will love the looks of your Ranger after the lift. It is worth the expence and labor to enjoy the aftermath!!!! Shop around and check prices before you buy!!!
