Where to buy 88 tailgate FORD letters?

My daughter lost a couple of the FORD letters off the tailgate of her 88. She desperately wants them replaced. I love her enough that I'll see if I can find some, but I can't find them anywhere, not even on evilbay.

Anyone know where they are sold? THanks

The dealership is always an option as is a JY. If you got to the dealer tell them your story and see if they can give you a good price and get all of them.

I would pull them off my 86 for you if you think they would match up. Going to slowly go custom on mine anyways.

I'd post a picture but my daughter is off again. Any idea why these are hard to find baxtej44? She's was driving a FO D, bu I took the "D" off because it was loose. Now have a "FO", which i think could be interpreted badly

I'll check the sites you guys recommended. You think the dealer might still have them? I never thought they'd have 21- year old truck letters. Probably expensive...

I've seen those on Ebay, but the ones on my daughters truck are big, metal raised letters with chrome on the outside and black on the inside. Each attached with two posts that go through the tailgate (leaving two holes when they are gone).

I am not great at computers, but will try!

I took a couple of screws out to look aty the back. looks like they are riveted in, would be hard to remove them without breaking. I could ship the whole piece if you want to give it a try!

No clue why they are so hard to find... there are letters for every other model it seems like... I would say the dealer doesn't have them, but no guarantee...

That may the only way to get them, none of those other places had the letters. Weird.
