I know of smokey mountain kinfe works, is there any other good online websites that sell HIGH quality pocket knives, machetes, sharpening supplies, and defensive weapons?

I am looking for a good survival knife made from that special steel that cannot be exported from Japan, a good 5" or so fixed blade, a GOOD sharpening kit, stones, Also a good hatchet, tactical knives, and flashlights.

I've raided the local Case Knife dealer, and Wal-Mart really only had two models I was interested in, (a Buck119 special and a kershaw leek)

Going to checkout Kmart this weekend, need a good muti-tool, if I can't hold it in my hand(packaged in plastic), I don't buy.

ranger joe's outta ft benning , ga. the have great knives. Im sure cabella's, bass pro, or gander mountain will have goo knives. Someone on here mentioned a hatchet knife combo. It was made by gerber but truly was fiskars. They also have a machete made by gerber with an actual sawtooth spine. Good heavy duty quality. i seriouslyrecommend one of these two. Otherwise I dont think you have any better option than smokey moutain knifeworks.

gerber and marbles arms are some of the best ive ever owned and i know that they make machetes, axes and knives

I'm looking at a Cold Steel Trail Master Bowie Knife. Can anyone recomend a good balisong knife? Benchmade 42?

http://newgrahamknives.com/
has a huge variety of good quality knives for generally the best prices.

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/default.aspx
often has knives for a few bucks cheaper but their variety is limited ( for instance they didnt have jester races's seal pup elite)
but their page is swamped with the obama rush on guns

the 119 and the leek?
both are awesome knives but completely different, dunno how to compare them
i own the 119 and love it and have never heard anything but good bout the leek
but Im not sure how to compare them

what price range are you looking at for the survival knife, sharpeners and such?

multitools? I have a old wave that I love but the new leathermans are cheaply made, you can go wrong with a gerber

the kershaw is a brand name and there are hundreds of kershaw knives. Which are you referring to or did I miss it earlier? They are good knives tho, I forgot about them til you mentioned the name.

Kershaw will send out a free catalog by the way.

Brigade Quartermaster.com has some.
ANY Cold Steel knife, I own two and love them. (fixed)
Spyderco Rescue Clipit, fully serrated= greatest duty knife ever.
Kershaw Rainbow Leek= Sharpest Sunday morning prayer meeting knife ever.
Older Leatherman products= best to get you out alive.
I love my truck so much I bought it it's very own CS Recon Tanto, fits great in the seatbelt clip slot, VERY handy!

If you know exactly what you want, www.yourcornerstore.com has excellent prices and a great selection. I've ordered from them three or four times.

I just tried the Kershaw Leek, I would say that it is a "light duty" gentleman's knife. Not much support at the tip(where the most wear occurs).

It's deployment is wicked tho... the assist is just awesome.

I looked at Spyderco, decent quality, but they are made in China, I don't like that at all.

as of right now I got a Case "old red" dam nice pocket knife.
