My 1999 Ranger 4 cyl. warms up, top hose hot as it always has and the heater puts out the same good heat it always has but the temp gauge never moves off cold. All the other gauges work normal. Where is the temp sending unit? or are there 2? THanks, Paul

The sender for your gauge is on the drivers side rear of the block under the intake manifold. It has one wire going to it, and is easier seen from the bottom of the truck. The engine coolant "sensor" has nothing to do with the gauge. :)shady

Thank you. That helps
