Where IS Everyone?

I'm around too, slowly but surely collecting parts, a jammed seat belt, bc's graduated licensing program, and a run in with one particularly unpleasant officer of the peace set the plans back a bit. $500 in tickets and a Vehicle safety inspection kind of ate up my disposable income. So far I've done all my repairs I need to do, swapped in v8 sway bars, and got some 16" CSA 5-spokes, and will be ordering MS2 soon. Have a block, a couple heads, and a Holset turbo sourced for when the time/money comes.

I am working on my engine that i am ptting into my truck. 347 stroker fits nicely. I am really busy trying to get that done until my truck is running again. I will be on every now and then but not as often as i was. Wish me luck

I drove the truck today. The tags are expired so I had to stay in the neighborhood. got one hill about a block long. In second gear you can hear the turbo start spooling up. I gotta get that thing back on the road.

I still poke in once and a while....
I just finished a 3.8 V6 Turbo project, but it's in a car. I sold my 2.3 T Ranger almost 2 years ago now...

What, no details? You can't just pop in and toss that out and run.

Well I moved to cars so I didn't think it would be polite to drop in and put up a bunch of Mustang pictures... But I'll open a thread if it wont get deleted for not
truck related. It is Forced induction, I use to have a Turbo Ranger and I know my shite so I guess it's not totally unrelated... :dunno:

On that note I think that the 3.8 V6 swap in a Ranger (though roughly the same size and a 302) would be a better swap than the popular V8 swaps... Believe it or not, the 3.8 has more power potential then the venerable 302 block (that splits in half) and takes to Forced Induction very well... Two small turbo coupe IHI's on a 3.8 would take it nicely into the 400 rear wheel range and I keep wishing I had as much room for plumbing as I had in the truck...

Since myself, James, Bill and Ric are the only mods who spend much time here, I can safely say that any thread/topic that you want to start that is even vaguely forced induction related will be safe from censure.

How's J doing?

Good, Pregnant... which is why I had to get one of my turbo projects finished before my "purse strings" get cut. She's taking a few years off work so what I don't get done in the next few months will most likely remain on jackstands if you know what I mean...

The V6 only really took me about 2 weeks working about 3 hours a day on weeknights and full 10hr+ days on the weekends... I'll have some time this weekend to throw a few pictures up and show ya'll what I've been up to...

I do miss the 2.3 though and keep thinking that one day I'll find a nice condition MGB and drop a preped 2.3 T in...

You get and white stuff yet up there? I'll be coming up your way for Christmas this year, but I have a feeling that it will be a short visit since I will not be able to take as much time off as I use to since I'm the sole provider now and she obviously made more than I do...

No white stuff up here. It's scheduled to be 70*F tomorrow, isn't global warming wonderful. It's nice but I fear the later consequences of having the lake this warm this late in the season. Could bode very poorly for Dec and Jan. Guess I should tune up the plow truck.
