I replaced my plugs and wires today, but truth is I'm almost over my head.
I need to do a valve adjustment job and I really want to start working on the cosmetics of the bus rather than going for it. Durn, I want to ask y'all where I should take the engine to get it worked on, but I'm almost talking myself out of it... Ok, just in case:
How do you find an auto mechanic?
Do I grab the yellow pages and keep calling until somebody says they are familiar and willing and able to work on a 1974 Ford Cologne 2.8l V6? I know they are going to ask what kind of vehicle I have and ignore me trying to describe the engine (like the auto parts place guys always do)?
